Risk ManagementFlorida Doctors Insurance Company’s Risk Management Department is committed to working with its insured physicians and healthcare organizations to prevent medical malpractice lawsuits and disciplinary actions, as well as to ensure patient safety. Not only are our services aimed at the foregoing, but they are also designed to enhance the defensibility of a claim should a medical malpractice lawsuit be filed. FLDIC offers a range of services in order to aid the physician or healthcare organization in identifying and minimizing potential liabilities. Among other services, FLDIC’s Risk Management Department offers onsite risk assessment surveys and telephone and email consultations with physicians, office administrators, and staff. Risk Management Online InquiriesFlorida Doctors Insurance Company's Risk Management Department understands that FLDIC insureds often need advice and guidance in resolving arising liability issues. The Risk Management Department is available to provide prompt responses to its insured healthcare organizations, physicians, office administrators, and/or staff regarding these issues. FLDIC insureds can take advantage of this service by directly submitting questions to RM@FLDIC.COM.
